The mission of Operation Libertas is to spread the philosophy of liberty based on the principles of non-aggression, free markets, limited government, personal responsibility, and voluntary charity.

We will accomplish this mission by building a following of individuals interested in or influenced by these principles and working with organizations that support these principles.

The defense of liberty is a constant struggle rooted in universal principles while operating in an ever changing world.  Understanding that competition provides a better product and not wanting to operate in an echo chamber, we welcome outside thoughts and opinions to challenge our way of thinking so that we can continue to grow, improve, and evolve our ideas.

In the defense of liberty, we must not yield.

Jordan Gambrell, Founder, Chief Content Producer, and Editor of Operation Libertas

Jordan is a Green Beret and former Captain in the US Army.  He has deployed to Iraq, Turkey, and Syria while serving in the military for 9 years.  While in Syria, he was the lead planner and coordinator for the Defeat-ISIS Operation in the Kyber River Valley, one of the last ISIS held areas.  He is a graduate of the US Army’s Ranger School and Special Forces Qualification Course.  Jordan received a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

The motto of the Special Forces is De Oppresso Liber, Freedom for the Oppressed.  This motto is one of the reasons Jordan was drawn to become a Green Beret.  As he moved into the private sector and civilian life, he was still extremely passionate about defending liberty.  Operation Libertas is Jordan’s continued effort to support and defend liberty.  But just like any operation, it can’t be done alone.  Jordan invites you to join him in the fight for freedom by subscribing to Operation Libertas emails and becoming a sustaining Task Force member.
